Very nicely preserved old tower from 1913 in the city center. It went well through two world and homeland wars. Apparently it has been further renovated, no indication of external damage. It looks very nice with a unique antique architectural style.

The old watercourse is located not far from the mouth of the Vuka in the Danube. It is 19 meters high and has a capacity of 50,000 liters. Since the development of the project by Vukovar engineer Fran Funtak, the functioning of the tower has lasted for four years (1911 - end 1915). Construction work was carried out by Banheyer and his son. The solemn opening was held on January 3, 1916. In the tower, drinking water was not kept, but the waters that burned the fires and in the summer poured dusty streets. Namely, the water level of Vuka in the summer was very low and its water was muddy and could not be used for the mentioned purposes. The tower was operational until the Second World War. It was restored only in the 1970s as a symbol of the city, but also a valuable example of industrial secession architecture. He was also killed in the Homeland War and was restored in late 2010.
