Magazinska klet - Pri staroj smokvi

I am generally suspicious about and avoid eating at bus stations. But being hungry and with 2 hours to kill in between the buses luckily found this place, just next to the main bus station. Despite the unpretentious location, the food (mainly grilled meats) is excellent, I’m a big eater and could barely finish the portion. Mainly locals in the know, reasonable prices, friendly service, nice terrace. Well worth a detour even if you are not passing by the bus station.

If you are looking for a good place for Balkan grilled dishes, Magazinska klet is the right place for you! I have testified many times about very well prepared grilled dishes! The service is good and the staff is friendly! Intended for smaller and larger groups of guests with a large terrace! The location is next to the Central bus station in Zagreb. Recommend!

Quick, efficient service. The food was really tasty, the sizes are just the right size and go hand in hand with the prices (not too expensive or too cheap for what you get). The server came to check if everything was to our liking and if we needed anything else which is always a plus in my book.

Really good, tasty gurmanski cevapcici (beef minced meat, with bacon, cheese, red paprika) followed by excellent Velebitsko pivo

Amazing food, huge portions, nice ambiance and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend.
