Mountain Lodge Glavica

My favorite mountain lodge on Sljeme. Great view on the city panorama, delicious food and the nearby routes are less intense for the casual hikers and less populated in comparison to the more eastern ones.

Very nice and easy walk, not to loong so good for quick trip out of town.

Great for taking a short walk 20min from the main road...too crowded for weekends you'll have to wait for a long time in line for the food. Food is croatian awrage...but it's nice as a stop when going into the cave veternica.

Nice little hike from Zelena Magistrala street. Good also for small children. It is harder to go back from the lodge, then going to it (around 30 min with 3yo child). Veternica cave is near and you should visit (40 min tour, 100 kn is a family pass). It is closed during winter because the bats are hibernating in it and they need their beauty sleep. The lodge has nice food at low price, and a great view of Zagreb
