Villa Borgo

- Rooms are quite basic, could use some special touch to make them more cozy! - There were only linen curtains which made sleeping harder due to light coming from outside. Darker and thicker shades would be a good improvement! - Terrace and the view from there was outstanding, especially during the sunset! - Breakfast was quite nice and the staff was very careful about the corona measures. They were serving each customer individually with a breakfast tray to have Corona proof breakfast!

Villa Borgo is in a great location, right in the heart of Motovun. The view from the terrace is stunning: a great place to eat breakfast or just enjoy the view. Breakfast was great! Eggs with truffles every morning. Also, staff was super kind and helpful. Rooms are quite simple and basic, but clean.

Amazing hosts! Beautifull place

We stayed here for one night, and the service was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had to park roughly 6 minutes walking distance away from the hotel, but someone met us to help bring our luggage to and from our car upon arrival and departure. The complimentary breakfast was also very good, they made us scrambled eggs with a truffle cream sauce and the croissants were fresh out of the oven. The room was basic but clean, and we had a view of the valley. The only downside was that the hot water ran out really fast during our shower. Also be aware there are no elevators at this hotel, but there are only three floors anyways so it's not too bad.
