Guesthouse Villa Marija

We parked our car next to to the cemetary for free, and were subsequently picked up by the host in her car. We were offered a welcome drink on the private terrace of our room. Optional breakfast was good, but we had to share it with some aggressive wasps.

We had a really nice stay. Friendly people, welcome drinks, lovely breakfast underneath a ceiling of grapes and with a fantastic view. They gave a good recommendation for dinner as well. One of my best overnight experiences!

Lovely apartment with a terrace overlooking beautiful view. The hosts were very friendly. We had the best breakfast and fresh truffle lunch with homemade grappa and wines prepared by the host. The road up Motovun is very rough though. SUV is recommended.
