Restaurant Pizzeria MALI RAJ

First thing I will remember about this place is the homemade bread which they serve at the beginning of the night. The pesto-olive oil sauce makes it further interesting. Obviously it is a calorie bomb but anyway worth the experience. We ordered fried cheese as starter. Nothing special. Very standard plate that you can not add/remove anyway. We had mixed meat plate. Compared the ones we had in other restaurants it comes with less meat and more side dish (rice and chips together?). We also had a pizza which was ok. We ordered merlot house wine. Probably you know, in some places house wine may be so good that it may make your day as you would be very happy due to best cost to taste feeling (even the wine is not the best). Nope, this was not like it. Can not say I enjoyed it. At the end they served 2 different shot. Grappa and Rakija. I need to say that I found the atmosphere little bit strange. Not a good vibe for dinner. Maybe ok for lunch though. Service is very good. Definitely not 4 star but more like 3.5. I need to round it down to be fair to other places.

Most amazing restaurant ever. Service really good and fast. Friendly and kind workers. I come to Croatia almost every year and always go out to eat at MALI RAJ. Couldn’t imagine a better restaurant than this.

Place looks nice, but we came and waited 20 min before someone came and took our orders. Only a couple of waiters knew english. Almost 40 min went from order to food. When asked about how long, got an angry "this isn't McD" They forgot water with the Wine, and had to ask 4 times. Food wasn't great - from raw t-bone to okay pizza. The bill was wrong with 2 extra meals and a water added.
