I absolutely agree with some people there! I also had terrible experience with roadside assistance workers of Auto Club Karlovac. My car was taken from the road to this place. We got information that there is no part of it for our car in whole Croatia, even in the Dealership. I told them that if they let me use a lift, I would fix the car myself and pay for the lift. They said NO. (they have about 8 lifts, when I asked for help only 1 was in use) I wanted to borrow tools, they said NO. Eventually, I managed to buy parts in a nearby car store and repair the car using a car jack without any help from them. The woman at the reception desk - when she saw that I was repairing the car - was very unhappy, she kept walking next to me and calling someone as if she wanted to scare me or...I don't know what she wants to show :) It is worth noting that all theirs services such as accommodation, towing, repair are infinitely expensive there, so they care not to help you but involve people in big costs. I was a witness when a young couple from the Netherlands left the car because they had no insurance, so the towing costs were so big. They didn't have enough many to pay for this car, so they just left the car...Fortunately, it was not expensive. Another family has been towed because of a hole in the tire. They paid 500 euros for 2 used tires because the roadside assistance here did not have a tire with such a tread. It was clearly visible that the tires they paid for, had a different profile than the tires on the other axle. You can go like this but how does it look like? Tragedy.
