Specialty of the house is lamb and it really was something special. Crunchy and soft, perfectly salted. Home-baked bread.. Interior is outdated and seems dirty, and smoking is allowed inside even though food is served there?! Renovation and investing in it would be recommended. Not only for the guests but for very hardoworking and dedicated staff comprising of three women we saw there. As we entered the restaurant everyone ignored us until we asked if we should wait or leave since all tables were occupied. Then realized staff was actually polite and welcoming but workload was high so they just focused on running around and not speaking. Dont get intimidated by that, especially if you are foreigner. They are running around trying to cater to everyone, very polite very hospitable and cheerful, apologizing for delay or shortcomings. All in all very positive experience due to food and people working there

You may not like the decor, and you may not like the music playing on the speakers, but if you want to eat a great roasted lamb - this is the place to go. You might find the same quality in Zagreb, but not at these prices, and with these well sized portions. It's a bit simplistic, but I'll rather come here than to some fine dining resto where the waiters are unfriendly, the pieces are high, and the portions are small. Be sure to visit this place on your way to Plitvice lakes.
