We had the best time in Croatia rowing the kanu in the quiet Gacka river. The peaceful environment has created the perfect day. Darko and his girlfriend were amazing hosts and we definitely going back there next time in Croatia. A perfect day!

Fantastic place, The owners Darko and Iva are exceptionally nice and kind. The place is just a bit further up the road from the kayak rental place but I think kanu is more comfortable. We were a family of 5 and rented a 4 seater and a 2 seater and a lot of fun and hilarity was had, once we mastered the best way to stop going zig-zag . The river is amazing, very cold even in the summer heat but the teens decided to jump in at the end. The nature is beautiful, we saw lot of water birds, frogs, fish, livestock on the fields, the hive of life and the kids drunk lots of river water as it is apparently drinkable and were fine. It was the best way to spend a hot summer afternoon so highly recommended!
