Apartments Villa Pina

Good hotel and friendly helpful staff. When we arrived (too early) the owner did not speak English but he tried his best and also called someone from the reception to help. We could patk the car inside the gate until are room was ready and use the pool if we wanted to. We had apartment #2 which was bottom floor with a nice sort of balkony/terrace. The bathroom was very tiny, also the shower did not drain at all, but this got fixed when we asked. Bed had a mattress cover that was too small, so with every movement you touched the bare mattress which we did not like. Kitchen had everything we needed. Small but clean pool (about 5x3) and always a bed to lie down. You can park you car inside the gate, and you get a key to open the gate, which was handy. Also, lots of mosquitoes so bring repellent. Supermarket (tommy) and bakery within 5 minutes, pebble beach within 1 minute. Town of Vodice is a 30 minute walk, from Vodice there is a cheap ferry to some of the islands. Payment had to be done in cash and only an ATM at 10min walk, so make sure to withdraw enough before checking out. Visited in early June. Price/quality wise good.

Apartment very well and close to the sea. Secure parking. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice swimming pool and barbecue for the tenants. Very quiet 20 minutes walk from the city center by the seaside

Stay Sun 1/9 to Sun 15/9 2019 - Assessment of both positive and negative things and tips. No photos because enough of these have already been posted and they are all still correct. POSITIVE: Nice apartments close to the beach, fully furnished and comfortable beds. Everything looks well maintained and clean. Reception is very friendly and spoke english fluently. We got help with unloading our car of no less than 3 people, very helpful. You can park in your own parking space on the guarded site and you will receive a pass to drive in and out. We had apartment 7 on the ground floor, which is one of the most luxurious there is. Lots of luxury in the house, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, air conditioning, TV, radio. It also has a large private terrace with garden furniture. Everyone from the apartment will pass it, but that is because it is ground floor. Ground floor means a staircase of 4 steps up. There is no ramp for wheelchair users. You must be able to walk a few steps. The pool is very small, but great for freshening up. The owner and his family do not speak any other language than Croatian, but the employee (Marina) who you receive also speaks many languages ​​and is very cooperative and friendly. NEGATIVE: 1) The apartments are noisy, because apartments have been made above and below each other. The owner has lovely grandchildren who play and run in and around his house and we were able to enjoy it with them. No drama, but sometimes a shame if you want to sleep in (or put in earplugs) PS. Afterwards we found out that the children were staying with the owner, so it is not a fixed ritual as it now seems. 2) The owner had invited family and went out to eat extensively and that went with so much noise that we could not hear each other because the terrace continues from our apartment to the eating place that is next to it (5 mtr. unwanted as a guest and we did not like to be saddled with this noise, but your privacy is also gone. 3) Although it says on the door of the recption that someone is open from 8/20:00, but this was rarely the case during our stay. TIPS: 1) Bring your own bottom sheets, the sheets that are now around the mattresses will come off after one night because they are much too small. (2 pers.bed = 1.40x2.00 and the 1 pers.beds = 90x2.00). 2) Beach shoes because of pebble beach ... basically everywhere in Croatia. 3) The tap water contains a hint of chlorine flavor, just drinkable but with a flavor. 4) Take date against the mosquitoes, these were abundant, those little rotten bitches that sit down and sting right away. 5) You can ask for as many clean towels and tea towels as you need, so you don't have to bring these.
