Our last evening in Zadar and we decided to treat ourselves. Paolo greeted us like an old friend and followed up on our dinner throughout. Our first wine pick Pinot Gris was not cold so we were served a local white wine (sorry I forgot name) from Petrčane. It was a little sweeter than we expected but so lovely. The soup came out and I think I could not have been happier and could have stopped there. At first, I thought the portion was too great but as soon as I had tasted it, I wished for it to never stop. It was so flavorful and the mushroom flavor fresh and bright. A mixed salad followed whose ingredients seemed to have just been taken from the garden. The entrance of the entree shocked me. The platter was huge with double servings of tuna, clams, lobster tail, grilled octopus and a local fish. I was not able to fully eat my half but my father was happy to take over. Throughout, the staff was attentive but not overwhelming. The entire experience was almost like a dinner party at a friend’s. Thank you everyone for making Zadar even more special for us.

Fast and friendly service and good hygiene (staff wore face masks, everything was clean and regularly sanitised). Food was delicious, good portions and local white wine was the perfect cherry on top. The place is located in the heart of Zadar, with beautiful views from the patio. Highly recommend!

No no no. Started from "home made bread", probably both in pekarna, poor quality, not worth 1 kn I remember eating overcooked pasta in third choice bistro in Poland 20 years ago, but the chief in Groppo managed to overcook 3 different types of pasta much more. Pasta itself tasteless, not salted, too soft, awful. Octopus salad was so generously decorated with balsamico, that we could easily eat shoes instead of octopus and they would taste balsamico as well. I decided to not to put trash into my stomach and ended in pizza bar around the corner.
