Great place for dinner. Fish tasted fresh, mussels were good. Appreciate that the chef opted not to serve us the tuna tartar that we ordered as the fish is not fresh. Beefsteak was good too, very tender.

Absolutely beautiful food. The pasta starters were big enough to be mains! We had the seafood pot and lamb for mains and both were absolutely lovely. The best thing was their bread - marbled with cuttlefish ink (I think that’s what our server said) - out of this world good. Don’t worry, it doesn’t taste fishy! Prices were quite high but not much more than anywhere else in the area.

The food is good. The view GREAT! Almost everything is very good with the exception of the service! I have been coming to Zadar every year for MANY years and I continue to come to this restaurant until now, the service is consistently bad and I mean world class bad!!! I would come here again and again if it wasn't for the service, it is a shame!!

Very nice restaurant with good food. Service is a bit slow but very polite and eager to please. We have been here twice and will go again. We like the place. You feel welcome and comfortable.

This is one of the worst places I have ever had food in, in my whole life. It is extremely overrated. The food was completely raw and smelled like the ocean. I was actually going to vomit on the table, that is how bad the sea-food smelled and tasted. When the waiter asked about how the food was, I told him I was disappointed. He did not understand so my partner said she did not like the food. The waiter asked what I did not like and I explained the food is raw and it doesn't smell well. He said "If it is your personal opinion, I cannot do much about it, sorry. But this is how we traditionally prepare food in Croatia." Which is an outright lie, I had food in traditional places in Croatia and the food is delicious. All these "fancy" overrated restaurants in the old town, are actually tourist traps with awful food that is extremely expensive (in Croatian and even in Western European standards) but are also outright tasteless food that is just decorated nicely. Also, in a normal good fancy restaurant, if you order something and you don't like the food, the waiter would take away your dish after noticing you did not like it, and will ask you what your taste is so that the chef does prepare something you would like, as a token of good will, without any extra charges. This is how keeping a good restaurant is in any part of the world. Not just asking people what they don't like and then say sorry this is how we do it. Then what is the point of asking. Furthermore, we are normal human beings going to restaurants, of course my opinion of the food is my "personal opinion". How many chefs and professional food critics dine in these places on a daily basis? Just be aware. If you want good food, go to places the natives go; that is, outside the old town, city center. They will serve you real food.
