Make sure you arrive in the morning when the professional staff is in the tourist office. Make sure they actually ask for your EHIC card, if they don't it's probably not a trained paramedic like we faced. We just came back at 19:00 on the same Friday and the two paramedics were unbelievably rude towards us from the get go. My girlfriend has a lot of pain in her mouth and has not been able to eat or drink for days. When we arrived at the office we were greeted by a paramedic who immediately acted immensely rude towards us because we were speaking English, she then kept saying it's normal and that the pain is nothing. She then went in the office and discussed with her colleague and called us in to check on us. The colleague proceeded to just grab a pen light and forced the lollipop stick on her tongue with no intention of being gentle at all. This resulted in tons of pain and they then said "Here, go to the hospital." In this whole ordeal they had not asked for our EHIC card which shouldve been a red light, that they were not intending to help.
