Villa Palma

This villa is quite tired looking now, with obvious signs of running repairs that are not great (see photos). We paid a premium price for below average accommodation. Positive things: The swimming pool was a good size and appears to be well maintained The tennis court was in good shape The location was quiet There was a decent barbecue pit with plenty of logs to get things going The hot and cold water was very good The WiFi was very good when we were there - 6 adults using it with no problems Critical issues: There is a side apartment with 2 bedrooms and access to one of them is up some steep steps that are broken in places and missing an entire step at one point (see photos). Some of the electrics are not great - Behind the washing machine the socket was detached from the wall and wires are taped down over doorways (photos) Other issues: The cooker was way too small for the number of people The hot tub was effectively in one of the bedrooms, wasn't plumbed into the hot water and didn't drain There were deep cracks in many of the walls which have been badly patched up There were access hatches up the stairs, made to look like pictures, but hadn't been painted properly so just look very messy The furniture and beds in the rooms were cheap and falling apart. One bedroom had nowhere to hang clothes The electric gate at the front of the house was not working Mosquito netting had been put on a few of the windows, but was falling off and therefore ineffective. At some point all the windows had mosquito screens but these are now sadly now gone. We all got bitten quite badly There was only air conditioning in the hallways and lounge, not any of the bedrooms It was a shame there were only 2 tennis rackets; it would have been nice if there had beeen at least four The listing states there are 3 bicycles but we could only find one and both tyres were flat Although the dishwasher worked, the front panel had been broken off and when opened the door didn't stay down The 2-slice toaster was insufficient for 12 people The garden and surrounding areas were overgrown This was all a bit of a shame as the property has the potential to be lovely, but needs to be better looked after and adequately equipped.

Overcast, cold and not hospitable. Too expensive for what they offer.

When booking on the advertiser's pages, the images that are placed do not correspond to the actual state, the villa is very dirty, messy. Detailed cleaning and refreshing of the space is required. We stayed in a group of 10 people for 1. May, central heating was turned off, only on our request the owner sends the master to let us warm, but only on the ground floor, with the excuse that heating can not work on the upper floor. After leaving the masters, a friend checks the condition and sees that the upper floor valve is simply not open, after it has opened the heating normally works throughout the house. The owner is extremely unpleasant. This is definitely the worst accommodation we've ever been in and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Ideal for a group of friends to go on holiday, building may receive a little more maintenance. Furthermore, a nice swimming pool and tennis court. Rooms, bathrooms and the kitchen are rather limited. Ample parking space, and quiet location, separated from the street.

A lot of things don't work, the tennis court is not in good condition and there is no light on the place + water and only some of the warm water is available, but the saunas, the pool and the whole house are in top condition and the owner is really nice and if there are any problems she is quickly on hand with a craftsman
