Valamar Club Tamaris

My family and I were really satisfied with our first stay at Valamar Tamaris Resort. Besides all positive aspects, we do have some remarks, maybe opportunities to improve the service even more: 1. Quality of soft drinks at the restaurant: in our opinion, for a resort with this level, it should be offered better soft drinks. The ones currently offered are not good, even the water taste is bad. Please consider to have better soft drinks. 2. Fruit juices during the breakfast: in our opinion, there should be an offer of fruit juices at least during the breakfast. 3. Air conditioning: it was working, but sometimes we had the impression the equipment was not cooling the room enough. It could be better. 4. Number of people in the restaurant: sometimes, during dinner, we had the impression there were too many people in the restaurant and also in the queue for the buffet. Maybe it should be reviewed (due to corona), at least during the high season. Besides these remarks, we were extremely satisfied with our stay at Valamar Tamaris Resort and we definitively will come back. Thanks for everything and hopefully we will see you next year.

We first visited this hotel over 13 years ago and have seen it change and grow in the past years. Valamar manages to create a great holiday experience year after year. 2020 has been especially challenging, but we feel safe and very much welcome as guests here in Croatia and by Valamar. All rooms are thoroughly prepared before your arrival and also sealed. You can request cleaning during your stay via App or at the reception. Hotel employees wear masks, tables at the restaurant are spaciously placed and sanitizer is everywhere. Food is as delicious as always, but now you are not allowed to put it on your plates yourself: it actually makes the queues move faster, which is a nice bonus. This year the design of the restaurant was changed, very tasteful interior. The “coral reef” corner is our family’s favorite. There is also a new terrace at the restaurant, which makes it easier to sit all the guests. To sum up: a great destination for a family vacation! Thank you Valamar Team!

The grounds are vast and very well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful but also nice and relaxed. The room we had was very clean but in size and ambiance not a 4S. And the food is definitely not 4S. It's OK but no veriety, everything overcooked, often oily. Nothing bad but very average.

Amazing location with great nature. A lot shadows and park nearby. 3 different beaches (stone, pebbles, sand). New beautiful and tasty restaurants. But old rooms.

Nice & well-maintained hotel. Excellent location. Helpful & friendly staff. Excellent kids club. Good job in cleaning and disinfecting during COVID.
