The Morning Star

We stayed at the Morning Star for 18 days with our little son. Really enjoyed the house and the garden. The house has almost everything you'd need (including a dishwasher and washing machine). Thanks to the hospitality of Marijana, we felt at home. She gave us useful tips for local food shopping and dining. The location of the house was quite central. The house is located up the hill, provides a cool relief in warm days. The beach ia about 15-30min by car (depending on the beach). We'd love to come back!

Where to start with this wonderful place: although slightly up on the hills, great location in Kvarner area that allows for reaching various locations on half hour, good garden, tastefully decorated and clean place and friendly and helpful host Marijana! Loved our stay, extended it several times and looking forward to be back

Mirijana was able to arrange accommodation for myself and 8 colleagues. We were all part of a group of international firefighters that were doing practical fire training at a live fire training centre nearby. We required individual rooms and they needed to be close together. She managed to coordinate the 2 weeks of accommodation and was extremely helpful. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. A small convenience store was nearby and there were shopping centres within 10 to 20 minutes drive. If you are looking for nice accommodation in a quiet are, I would highly recommend the Morning Star. The magnificent towns and beaches of Rijeka and Opatija are only a short drive away. The best of both worlds.
