Tounjski most

The bridge over river Tounjčica is a widely recognized symbol of Tounj and it's area. It was first built in 1775, architecturally inspired by Roman/classicistic style, with one level of arches. It was upgraded with the second level of arches in 1836. It is most notable for having four busts of Roman soldiers built on parapets. There is a small resting site on the western river bank from which one can enjoy in the view of the bridge and the river. There are also few info-panels which tell a rather interesting story about the bridge. There are also few caves nearby. A perfect place for a short rest on the way to the seaside.
