I wouldn‘t recommend this "Diving Center“ to anyone who is interested in diving. My brother and I went there just to refill a diving bottle. The price was OK, and after a while, one of the workers there asked my brother for his diving license, just for refilling, so my brother showed him the license. The worker asked where we wanted to dive and after we told him, that we won‘t dive in a diving school, the worker got more and more aggressive. He told us that we need a license for diving without a diving school and after that, he called the owner of the "Diving Center“. He came out and the worker told him that we want to dive without the diving school, he got very aggressive after that and showed us his diving book, with a license and told us five times that it‘s not allowed without a license, we already told him that we understood and will follow the rules after the first time he said it, but he didn‘t stop talking, he got more and more angry and shouted at us because of the license. After all that, this is a very bad spot for learning to dive. Deutsch: Diese "Tauchschule“ wird ich unter keinen Umständen irgendwem empfehlen. Mein Bruder und ich wollten lediglich eine Tauchflasche auffüllen lassen, er ist im Besitz eines Tauchscheins. Dort angekommen trafen wir auf einen Herren, welcher dort seine Arbeit als Tauchlehrer verrichtete. Er sagte uns, es würde 6€ kosten, darauf willigten wir ein. Nach ein paar Sekunden hinterfragte er, wo wir denn tauchen möchten und wir äußerten, dass wir den Tauchvorgang in einer Bucht in Opatija vollziehen möchten. Sichtlich entsetzt und zugleich verärgert sagte der Tauchlehrer, dass das Tauchen ohne Tauchschule nur mit einer Lizenz erlaubt sei, im gleichen Atemzug rief er den Chef des Diving Centers raus, welcher schnell herbei eilte, um uns einer entsprechenden Maßregelung zu unterziehen. Auf aggressive Art und weise zeigte er uns sein Tauchbuch inklusive Lizenz und redete wild auf uns ein, bezüglich der Lizenz und des Tauchens außerhalb eines Diving Centers. Mehrmals sagten wir ihm, dass wir seine Erklärung zur Kenntnis nehmen und dies berücksichtigen. Jedoch machte der Chef keinerlei Anstalten, sein gebetsmühlenartiges Gerede einzustellen, sondern erzählte weiter. Die Diskussion mündete am Ende darin, dass er sich weigerte weiter mit uns zu sprechen und ging aggressiv wieder hinein. Alles in allem kein geeignetes Dive-Center.

My family an me sent a e mail 7.july requesting a diving course while our holidays in Rijeka. There was no answer. Now we are back at home.

Although the staff of the center was nice and they even gave us a little discount (because a previous misunderstanding), the dive didn't worth it at all. We dived from the beach, It was short and with no interest, diving too close to the beach, finding a lot of trash in the seabed (plastic, bottles and even a nappy). We think that the center shouldn't offer this dive. The price is hight (as the rest of Croatia) and you have to use the showers of the beach, with frozen water.
