Superb place in a beautiful location with stunning views - a gorgeous mountain range to one side and an azure sea to the other. The staff was OUTSTANDING and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs. Slavica, whose friendliness, understanding and hard work made our stay so special, pleasant and unforgettable as well as for making us all feel welcome like at home. The rooms were clean and spacious, frequently cleaned, fresh linen and towels provided, kitchen facilities very good , nicely shaded balcony to chill out during breakfasts. Very nice and comfy lounge/reception area with the upright piano. There's also a grill available for guests which proved to be very useful during numerous parties. The swimming pool area was great with many sun loungers + cushions and sun brollies available at all times. The property is set on a lovely hill in a very quiet location. The only noise one can hear is the endless "concierto" of cicadas. Being hidden away from the traffic the place is very safe for kids. It's a short walking distance from the sea and town center however bikes made our lives much easier. It's a very good location if you're keen on discovering other parts of the Peljesac peninsula which is truly smashing! Highly recommended.

We didn't have TV but it is one of the basic requirements in this century. We neded to pay our second toilet role 5kuna (around 0,70 euros). We also neded to pay air conditioner 8 euros. They didnt clean the pool so it was full of bugs. Very unpleasant expirience. I would not recommend villa Meridiana to anyone thiking about to go there.

Villa Meridiana is probably rated as a three-star hotel because it looks nice and the place itself is very pleasantly furnished. But the appearance does not match the service. We have been very dissatisfied with the money-making and unprofessional service. Rooms provide no WiFi and no air conditioning (it must be paid separately). When we arrived there was only one toilet paper roll available for 3 people during 3 days. Of course, we had to ask for more toilet paper and were charged 5 kuna for each roll (around 0.70€), a very inappropriate attitude in an establishment of that category. Also, breakfast, even though it was good, was too small and frugal for 8€ per person. Clearly overpriced. And, to finish, when we were on our way out, we were stopped by one of the members of the hotel staff to say that there was one glass missing in the kitchen. Aside from the fact that we had never used the kitchen, I felt completely humiliated! This was the last straw!

I agree with the other negative reviews of this place .It is 2 completely separate blocks.Villa Orebic is the self catering building next door to Villa Meridiana and provides very basic accomodation. The check-in started badly as they insisted on a security deposit paid in euros and were not willing to accept the kunas that we had.As far as I am aware Croatia is not in the eurozone !We then got to our room to find that it was very small with only one hand towel each provided. One toilet roll and no soap in bathroom or dishwash soap in kitchen sink.I went to lie on the bed and fell through it !On lifting up the mattress I found the base was made of 3 pieces of finely balanced chip board!I was so nervous when I was sleeping on it in case it collapsed again. The air conditioning unit requires a remote control that you need to pay separately for.The kitchen area is 2 hotplates a small fridge and a sink and very minimal utensils/crockery.The balcony only just fitted the table and chairs on it.It was not a comfortable apartment to spend any time .The pool next door can be used but nearly all the loungers were broken. This seems ironic given the fuss made about a breakage deposit on check-in! There is a car park at Villa Miranda but it was stressful coming back at night as if it was full there was nowhere else to leave the car as the road in front is too narrow. One night we were told by staff the final empty space was reserved. The driveway was full and we couldn't find anywhere else to leave the car.We ended up going back and parking in the reserved space anyway. The location of the accomodation is quite poor if you want to walk as it's quite far to walk into town and the main beach and parking is quite tricky. It meant you couldn't go out for dinner and a drink in the evening unless someone drove.I would really not recommend this place.I have stayed in many places in Croatia over the last few years and this is not the usual standard. There are many better places to stay for the same price so avoid the stress of staying here.
