Portal-Split excursions

Me and husband took the Plitvice Lakes tour in Jul. The company was very responsive and the best option we could find matching our itinerary and budget. Our guide Silvio was fantastic with good knowledge on Croatia's past and present - so he made all conversations interesting. Even inside the park, he showed us interesting viewpoints and photo spots. We had a fun-filled day. Overall, would 100% recommend.

First trip to Croatia. Stayed in Split. Booked tour to Medjugorje through Portal. Then took a day tour is Split and Togir. Wow! Great service. Friendly and knowledgeable guide. Andrej went out of his way to pass along both local and historical information. Can’t say enough great things about the service!!

Do not book a tour with this company! There are many other Split excursion companies that you can book with that will go to the same locations you wish to travel to. After booking I was unable to make the tour due to extenuating circumstances and when I emailed to let them know they said a refund or partial refund would be possible, later (after the tour began) that said it was not possible. If they had let me know right away that it would not be possible I would have done my best to still try to make it. Very rude and unfair.

Also known as "Portal Travel Agency" when you get the tickets online. Highly irresponsible tour guide Nikolina, who abandoned us in Plitvice Lake deliberately. Office staff was also condescending and rude over the phone. Very traumatic experience of being abandoned 300km away in an national park!
