Matošin Winery

We felt like grabbing a bottle of local wine "on the way" and found ourselves spending a whole afternoon with the lovely owner. This is a single grape winery, but tasting the produce of different years is a great learning experience. Such big differences from small changes to the process and of course the plants age and climate factors. I higly recommend a visit here.

It was our first visit in any winery. We are happy that this one was our first choice. Beautiful remote place, extremely peaceful and charming. The owner was very polite and talked us through the whole process of wine making. We had a wine tasting with a cheese plate after which we just had to by our favorite bottles of wine. The whole place is fresh, just starting to operate. I wish to come back there in few years and see it developed ;)
