Parking Sibenik

Parking at Šibenk promenade during the summer months is a terrible idea. A lot of visitors and it is mostly full. In the afternoon weddings are held at the St. James cathedral and traffic jams are daily. So avoid the prime Ade during the high season. Alternatives are Banj and Crnica 10min away and you will have some nice sights on the way to the center

WATCHOUT! They have signs that say free parking on sunday and then another smaller text that specifies that sundays are also payable during summer. I got a daily ticket on a Sunday when there are no offices open where you can pay so i had to pay for the whole day. I contacted them about my situation as soon as i got back home and traslated the ticket (you only get a ticket in croatian so if you are a foreigner good luck with deciphering it). They wouldn't communicate about reclamation and just told me that i have to pay for whole day because the time to change daily ticket to hourly expired. They are just money grabbers that want to make profit off of tourists. You are better off parking somewhere else than here.

Great spots for compact cars

Good access to the city and for two hours sightseeing it was perfect for me. But you also have to be lucky enough to find a place.
