Owners/operators hardly can communicate in English . Other than that , what a great place to stay !!!
The bad:
Front desk employees were downright rude to the entire group.
DO NOT EAT AT THE "RESTAURANT" !!! the food is cooked in a makeshift, dirty home kitchen where the cook is the older gentleman who is also the owner (extremely rude). The food was appalling, frozen meat, chap supermarket soups (you can see the packaging from the so called kitchen) if you pass through the second floor.
The good:
sleeping was relatively comfortable although the mattresses in all the rooms our group was in were old spring style.
The rooms were clean.
Its an ok place if you need to sleep and keep driving but do not use this place as anything beyond that and for the love of God stay away from the food.
Its a family business of a family who are clearly not into hospitality.
One star, because if the beds are not great and the food was appalling the least they could do is be courteous.
We find the place by accident, and we r happy we did. Good rooms, good food, and most important- really good, warm, and welcoming staff. After the long trip, that's the best place to stop, relax, and continue. Thank you!
It's more than a fantasy land, this is a real set for any movie...
Not bad, but... in Slavonski Brod you don't have what to choose. It's ok for 1-2 nights, but not more. It's clean, but everything looks old and "dusty".
