One of the most sophisticated wine producers at the Pelješac peninsula. Wineyards, exposed to sun most of the year, combined with the Mediterranean air's salty breezes, produce rich flavored wines. Fertile soil at the steep slopes are the grounds where Plavac mali, most well known local grape variety is grown. Miloš winery is producing perfectly balanced ecological wines.
It was a great stop on our way to Peljesac! The owner’s son showed us the historical house where they produce the wine- also, the basement is incorporated in the stone! He was really nice and he explained us how they produce the wine and we had a great experience tasting their wine and olive oil! The oil is really worth the medals they got for it and we were more than satisfied with their wine! It’s a 500 hunderd years family bussiness so they know what are they doing! We highly recommend it!
Very friendly vineyard with a small but good selection of wines and olive oil.
We got a quick tour through the cellar and a free tasting of all their vines.
Very friendly almost familiar atmosphere. Highly recommendable.
Great local winery, took a tour of the facility and learned a lot about how they make the wines and the grapes of the region. The wines that were included in the tasting were all great. The winery is also organic! They can ship wines to the US as well if you want to send some home!
They also make olive oil which we had heard great things about, but because it’s so good they were sold out for the season! If you stop in and they have it, make sure to try it!
Fantastic winery in Croatia. Best rose I’ve had in a long time, plus the brothers who own it were full of great information on the wine making process. Worth the time to travel here for sure.
