Guesthouse Pomena

The guesthouse was okay, particularly pleased that the bathroom had a fan. An older gentleman who worked at the restaurant shouted at us angrily because we parked our bikes in the wrong location. We were trying to speak to the staff to find out where we should park them, but this man was angrily shouting the entire time. I feel like a sign indicating where to park would be useful. Particularly as this was part of a cycling trip organized through Epic Croatia, so bike tourists frequently stay here.

Reasonable accommodation with fantastic views and in a great location. Owners say they want to help out the guests, but answer to everything was to go to hotel next door.

Nice apartments with beautiful views. I would not recommend Pomena for more than three days though

Pomena is probably the best place to vistit Mljet Lakes. The guesthouse has a private parking dismal but very usefull in a small village with few parking. The apartment equiped with a very little kitchen and air conditioned was not tidy up during my staying (9 days). From our windows there was a really beautifull panorama over the village and the see. Price in line with other guesthouse of the area (in general not cheap)

It's all ok and adequate, on the pricy side.
