Sveti Ilja peak, The highest peak of Pelješac. Beautiful views and and great memories to be made here. I'd recommend going here either early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Just make sure you have flashlights with you so you can go back at night. You can see Wild horses here.
Absolutely something you should do. We were sceptic, just another peak, but after hiking we are very satisfied.
Those are mounains anywhere so remember about good clothes; during 5-6hours trip around there could be sun shining, raining, winding and again shining.
You can start by walk from Orebić city ( and than go Karmen or Glavalovo, right side), or by car from Franjevacki Samostan by Bilopolje and way back by Karmen. The way by Karmen is little bit longer more difficult but completely different Bilopolje way. We did circle way with 10 y.o doubter and dog. There is no water in track. Also we met wild horses. I recommend.
The most beautiful place in the world. Must be well prepared for the hike, bring lots of water, wear appropriate clothes, start your hike at sunrise.
Well marked path. Pleasant climb from Orebic past the monastery. Spectacular views
Miraculous views
