Valamar Sanfior Hotel & Casa

Room was very big and spacious with few minor damages on walls, bed was very big (200 x 200) and comfortable, you could get a nice sleep with good and quiet AC running at night, unfortunately same doesn't apply for couch for kids. TV was quite small, especially considering the distance from wall to bed, selection of programs quite limited. Nice, big and clean bathroom was cleaned daily (which is something normal, but we were told differently because of pandemic), but had a few minor damages and toilette is located right on the door so you can get hit while seating on it. Balcony was a bit shabby, but spacious and with a fantastic view overlooking pool and sea. Pool was nice as well, with a lot of of beach chairs and parasols around it and very close to beach, bar was also a nice addition. Whole Valamar resort area around beaches is very nice and brings Rabac to a new level. A little bit on the bad sides; food in restaurant (both breakfast and dinner) is not the best quality, it's exactly the same as all other Valamar hotels I have visited, most of them lower category than this one. People serving food very good, friendly and working hard to make your experience better, which couldn't be said for waiters, some of them were arrogant and misleading. There were some minor issues with reception and reservation which makes this whole experience slightly worse, but all was sorted out in the end. Some of the information given due to covid 19 was just false, some info was not given at all or late and you could see staff is struggling with the situation, hope this will improve. For people worried about their safety, there is no reason for that as all precaution measures were taken and everything is at a very high health and safety level. Overall, it was a nice stay and I'm looking forward to coming again.

Great (family) hotel & spa. Staff is really friendly, food is great, SPA has great service too. Some rooms have great view on the sea. Shore and sea is 3 mins from hotel. 3 pools available. Everybody can find something to do in this resort.

Stunning hotel with beautiful views Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Food was different every night with something for everyone Indoor pool,gym and sauna was great on the rainy days and there's a choice of outdoor pools for the sunny days. Rooms were spacious and beautiful views over the bay

Realy nice family rooms, good fod with plenty of choice !

We loved this hotel when it was the Lanterna, 30 years ago and it is even better now with three pools, a wellness spa and man made beachfront. Their attention to detail is excellent and their environmentally friendly ethos is commendable. The food (half board) was delicious and the ensuite room was perfect overlooking the courtyard where music played most evenings. A special thank you to Ester and her team who made our 30th anniversary very special with complimentary bubbly and a table by the sea!
