Tipico Green Garden

Great place! In the past we did not take the chance to explore Croatian cuisine beyond the traditional options, which (in our view) were very much based on grilled meat and potatoes. Tipico Green Garden was the first place which completely changed our opinion about the food you can really enjoy in Croatia! We've really loved this place! It was not so easy to find it (Waze gives really bad indications, use Google Maps instead), but after doing so, we've returned each and every day. The atmosphere is very laid back, in the middle of nature, surrounded by trees, flowers and horses, never too crowded, exactly what we needed. The staff is great: super friendly, able to communicate at least in German and English, able to give good recommendations. If you want to eat something healthier, but tasty, there are just enough options available on the menu. Several vegetarian and vegan options also available, strongly recommended to try them! We were quite happy with all the options we've tried (including vegetarian, poultry-based, and beef stake). The desserts are also lovely, I personally recommend the honey-lemon cheese cake. i believe this is one of the best restaurants around Rovinj. Strongly recommended!

If you are fed up with čepavi and pizza, you have to visit Tipico. They have different food (e.g. veggie burger, stuffed tomatoes, black risotto...) than any other restaurant in Rovinj. I recommend – delicious food, professional service, fair prices, beautiful garden (especially in the evening) and they accept credit cards. ;-)

Delicious salad, there's even a German menu card and some of the staff can understand multiple languages
