La Puntulina

One of the best over-the-water restaurants in Rovinj. It gets busy, so a reservation is needed. We went for a long, lazy Sunday lunch and absolutely loved sitting on one of the upper terraces with stunning views over the sea. Food was very good, and the presentation & service were more refined than in many other places in Rovinj. Their menu is predominantly fish focused, with a fabulous wine list of local wines. Same family also own Rio and Giannino restaurants.

Great ambiance, fantastic views of the sunset, and if you can get one of the tables closest to the water (book well in advance) you will be in for a very pleasant evening. The one thing that I felt let this place down was the food. It wasn't bad, but for the prices they charge there is a lot better to be found. Guess you're paying for the location and the view... Very good natured staff too.

Love, love, love this place! The food is just amazing and the location is stunning. Overlooking the sea and enjoying a tasty meal while watching a breathtaking sunset is priceless. Make sure to get a reservation, because the place is in high demand.

Stunning location and amazing seafood. Unfortunately wine was just poured into the glas without showing the bottle and a testing upfront. Starter was not finished yet and main dish already arrived. Little bit rushed for this kind of restaurant.
