Great experience on all accounts. Homey atmosphere, very nice and helpful waiters, reasonably fast service despite the fact that almost every table was full and people were pouring in like crazy. It's obviously a popular place 😊 and for a good reason too. Food was delicious, ingredients fresh, prices totally acceptable for this kind of quality meal. I strongly suggest marinated sardines for a starter. We also had grilled squid and tuna steak, both amazing. We were also kindly informed that Adriatic squid (which I originally wanted) can be found fresh only until middle of May, so they suggested imported, cheaper squid and assured me it was also really nice, and it really was. Where I'm getting at is that they could have given us more expensive "Adriatic squid" and we wouldn't have known the difference, and I appreciate when people are honest. (Afterwards I saw other restaurants offering Adriatic squid 😕 not cool.) After our meal we got complementary plum liqueur and that was just the perfect ending for this great meal. Also, make the reservation before you visit. That will make things so much easier and more enjoyable for you and for the restaurant staff.

It was very crowded when we first arrived at the restaurant, but we were able to get a table inside. We are very glad that we decided to wait for a table, instead of going to another restaurant. We ordered the four cheese pizza and truffle pasta. It was the best pizza and pasta that we found in Roving for the week that we were there. The dough is perfectly cooked, and they bring a basket of dough rolls fresh from the pizza oven. The food was fabulous!

We found this place while waiting for our room to get ready for check-in. Man did we end up having the most delicious lunch of our entire vacation! Super fresh calamari and mussels, extremely tasty and very well prepared. Definitely give it a try!

Return visit. Excellent value. Shaded outside terrace. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. Love the food; especially the Istrian Gnocci.

One of the best value for money places in Rovinj. No fancy see view, location is within the city center hidden around the corner. Great service and fresh tasty food. Thumbs up.
