Amazing amazing amazing! Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free friendly!!! I honestly can’t praise this place enough. We’ve been in Rovinj for a week and Riva Bistro was the best experience by a mile! I am vegetarian and gluten intolerant which I know is not an easy combination with Istrien cuisine. The waiters however were incredibly accommodating and offered to created a dinner tailored to my needs. I got a veggie risotto with black rice, avocado and veggies. It was a dream! Their version of traditional chard and potatos has also been by far the best one I have tried - and I have tried a few due to my dietary requirements hah. Definitely a must-try!!! All of the food was spectacular, home cooked with a lot of love and attention to detail. One thing I appreciated the most was the extrem high quality of the service. All the waiters were attentive, helpful and didn’t make me feel awkward for needing special treatment. All in all, best service and food in town for an unbelievably good price. Could not recommend this enough!!!

Amazing food. The descriptions on the menu are huge understatements. For example: The salad with „feta, olives and olive oil“. What you get is an incredibly tasty composition of feta, olives, grapes, redcurrant, arugula, sesame and capers. Also, do yourself a favor and order the chocolate cake as dessert. Highly recommended.

By far the best food we've had in Rovinj, and we've been here for a week now. The portions are very generous, the wine is good, the vegetarian options are good. On top of that, they can pretty much make any meal you ask them to. One of our friends is vegetarian and gluten intolerant, and they accomodated that perfectly with a vegetable risotto with cheese. I had truffle pasta and asked for a tomato and feta salad which was not on the menu, and they made it really really tasty with some of their great olive oil. My wife had pasta Zingara which was also extremely tasty and had a really extraordinary taste, as in not something you'd usually find. The service was also very friendly and open to all suggestions. All in all Eins-A Quali!

Very helpful and friendly waiteimmaculate presentation of food... This bistro goes the extra mile in presentation... Their home made bread was delightful... As was the presentation of the meal... Only slight problem was service was a little slow... But more than made up for it in quality
