Restaurant Uskok

We spent the most wonderful couple of hours over lunchtime here today and were blown away by the quality of the food. The restaurant is set to beautifully look over the water and offers excellent, friendly service. We felt welcome, comfortable and relaxed. It took a long time to choose what we wanted to order (we will have to return for sure!) because there was such an excellent choice. We chose the beef soup for a hot appetiser, which was beautifully presented and seasoned; and served with lovely fresh bread. Our cold appetiser was mixed salad, dressed with the house made vinegar with honey which was delicious. Steaks for main were outstanding in quality, and cooked perfectly. Quite honestly some of the best steak we’ve ever eaten. Both were served with great accompaniments; the green peppercorn sauce was especially great. We somehow had space left for the pancakes which were filled with cheese and honey - we had never tried this before and it was fabulous. Please make time to visit Restaurant Uskok, the food and service are great, and the prices extremely reasonable - you won’t be disappointed.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. I wasn't so hungry so I just had grilled vegetables and the homemade croquettes which were delicious. My husband had the risotto which was really tasty. The staff were friendly and we got a free pancake dessert which was lovely. Highly recommend!

Had a spaghetti carbonara and it was exquisite! Friendly staff and quick service, offered a free starter of local bread and fish pate while we waited for our meals and a free cream and lemon juice filled pancake drizzled with local honey. Beautiful view of the harbor too.

Stopped here on my bike ride for a lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the food but also the level of service and very affordable pricing. Was served by Dado who did an excellent, excellent job. Warmly recommended!!

The service was great, the waitress was very friendly and gave us pancakes on the house :) The atmosphere has a local spirit and the place is generally cosy. The food is good, prices are reasonable. We recommend it!
