Takes the hike out of hiking upto the velebit! From the car park are many paths including the very interesting botanical vrt (garden) path. Excellent views down to the coast and islands of Krk and Rab can be found only 5 minutes from the car park

I highly recommend it.

Starting point of most groups for hikes and walks through the national park.

So to get to the parking lot, you have to pay admission first, we almost drove over. 45 kuna per person, then you can drive a pretty hilly and gravel road 6 km to the parking lot. So for the price you could renew the road. It is forbidden to stay there and will be told right away when buying tickets.
