The food is amazing, steaks are heavenly and the owner took care of us as if we were family. It is the best restaurant we've been to in Croatia when we visited back in 2016. So far, no restaurant has out-beat El Toro regarding taste, quality of food and service for us.

After many days in Croatia, I was not too impressed with the cuisine elsewhere. Let me tell you- El Toro changed my mind! We ordered exquisite appetizers-beautiful in presentation and very delicious. Our main course was a juicy steak-cooked to perfection. The service was excellent-and the ambiance was so romantic and intimate. Above us were grape vines with full grapes hanging over out heads! I would eat there everyday and trust everything on their menu is made with love and top notch culinary knowledge.

So nice staff who cook and serve really good Croatian genuine food. Feel free to ask for the best for the day. They love our little dog, Flisan, as an extra plus. 🐾🥰
