Worth visit if you walking trought Trogir!

He served for sunbathing and as a place for lovers (and it even made the first civil marriage in Trogir!) Around the sheep were grazing, and it was the hair goods. For a time he and a bodyguard, (half?) Surround him could be only by boat, and then a line become neighborly love triangle! Of course, it is a monument located on Trogir Batarija, known as "Marmontov glorijet". Although it was common opinion that was built in 1808, the latest data raise the possibility that this happened a year earlier - in 1807, under the leadership of Jean-Charles Langlois, a former military commander of Trogir and lieutenant in the French army.

In 1808, General Marmont ordered Colonel Planson to thank France in Trogir. A place on the plain of St. Mihovila, as the westernmost part of the city was called by the nearby church. By the sea, on a square floor, the glory is set in the form of a round pavilion on six slender stone columns with a pointed roof at the top. It was connected to the shore by a small bridge. In the middle was a Napoleon steak which, however, was not good.

Trogir - A city steeped in UNESCO-protected history, located on a small island, great private accommodation, good food and drink, great music and klapas, great for visiting anytime, not only in the summer if you hate crowds, get on the road
