The pool is really small and full of kids. There is another pool indoors but not very nice and too warm for summer. The beach is also full and you need to rent the chairs and umbrella for 140 kuna per day (the hotel does not provide it). The room is good and spacey but the air conditioning makes lots of noise and is not possible to adjust it by yourself... You need to call the reception. The best thing in this hotel was the buffet. They have good food with wide variety. Spa and sauna was closed due to covid-19 but on Booking they do not specify that. The kids pool was also closed.

Excellent breakfast and dinner with a big range of drinks. From beer and wine to different types of juice. Big and spacious rooms great for big families. Exceptional location. The outside of the hotel could use some work, painting and plants. Will definitely come next year.

If you're in a rush, the TL;DR; is the hotel is below the expectations a seasoned traveller like me has, the average reviews available online and the four stars hotel promise. Let's start with the payable car park since this is the first bit you're passing by to reach the hotel. 10 euros a day, a fee that the website doesn't clarify at all, but which they waved at the check out for a not clear reason. Irrespective of this, try to imagine the annoyance in taking a tickets all the times to enter, including a parking slip from the reception to leave (which required me to return back the first time as I was not told). And the waste generated by all this extra paper, which I appreciate is not directly an hotel fault. Rooms. These should be all fully refurbished. If that's the case, I guess something went wrong. The room I was given had a leak in the shower (promptly fixed when reported). How could the room maid who prepared the room before our arrival not notice it? Speaking of cleaning, what's the point in having a label in the toilet to remember to hang the towels to get them recycled but to find new towels every day? And the toilet. Our room was quite sized, but with a tiny bathroom, so uncomfortable that using the toilet was a real challenge; the shower, a 1.5 sq mt no more. The air-conditioning never worked for the whole week through the hotel. Sadly, nobody had the decency to inform us during the check-in, otherwise I would have ditched out immediately. And yeah, don't throw away money for the sea view, because if you're unlucky to be given a room on the first floor, you will only hear the sea's waves with a limited view. So you can save your money, and also earn some rest. The so-called sea view rooms are just above the external swimming pool and a local pub, which can be quite noisy in the night (on a Friday till 3 am). The gym. The site says the truth about the equipment brand adopted, Technogym, but a hotel with at least 100 rooms (if not more) can't really have a 12sq mt room with just a treadmill, an indoor bike and a weight machine. There are no excuses here and nothing Covid related. The latter was a justification for having no sauna or anything like that. Outdoor. The site mention badminton, basketball, mini-golf among the possible activities which were not illustrated at the check-in. When I asked at the reception, the employee could comment only with "we don't have any mini-golf here". To remain on the entertainment side, one word: non-existing. Again on their site, this year program irrespective of Covid stated music all night, which is fair considering the limited interaction between people when sat at a table. As a matter of fact, I've seen only two groups, one on Tuesday, three folks that spent most of their time drinking their wine rather than singing, and a group in the outside area nearby the pool on Friday. The tennis table was only installed on Thursday, whereas the tennis court was quite in bad shape (and yes you have to pay 70 kunas for the rent). But the most irritating thing was the need to pay 40 kunas for a sun deck under the pine trees beyond the outside swimming pool area. Again no mention of this on their website. And asking the same price the locals asked for a deck in front of the beach sounds like a fraud. Given the many issues and limitations, the management should have avoided such fee and invest the time of the "surveillance" guys to ensure other customers were not leaving their towel on the free decks, de facto monopolising the space. Finally, the positives, because after all the above something good during the past week exists. The pizza master and the pastry chef were outstanding. At least I assume their cakes were made internally (the bread is not despite it could). The general quality of food ok, but way too repetitive though. The front desk personnel is nice and supportive, and have helped in a couple of occasions too. The hotel gives access to this small town that is enjoyable and had this 2km beach with crystalline water and a walking path that was a pleasant ru
