I intended to buy a house in Istria through Diamond real estate agency. The real estate agent omitted to mention that not even 100 meters away from the house there is a wastewater treatment plant which I myself later noticed and gave up on buying. I am not claiming that it was intentional, but given the significant amount of commission the buyer pays to the agency, I think the agency is required to know and warn buyers of property deficiencies crucial to making a purchase decision.
