To simply put it, great place with a great host. Host(s) (especially "mountain" hosts) can be pushy, too much assertive etc.Mario is a great balances host, with a great sense for people. We had great hikes, good food, super-comfy feeling while staying there. Just keep it up.

When you arrive it is a tradition to taste home made liquors. Very friendly owners. Ate bean stew while resting. Owners use different Velebit plants to make jams & liquors. Highly recommend!
