TOP PLACE, LOOKS LUXURIOUS BUT IT'S FOR EVERYONES POCKET, GREAT DEALS AND GREAT FOOD.

My husband and I had dinner in one restaurant. As this restaurant had no ice cream we went to eat ice cream somewhere in place. We saw the inscription 'Homemade ice cream' and we choose this restaurant bar. It is important to note that the restaurant was not full. There were around 5 empty tables. We sat down and each of us ordered 2 scoops of ice cream. After about 10 minutes, the waiter came and said that unfortunately since it's dinner time we can't just order ice cream but we have to order at least something more to drink or eat. My husband and I looked at each other in amazement because we hadn’t experienced it ANYWHERE yet, and we had traveled almost the entire world and continents!! Very disrespectful attitude towards the guest. We got the ice cream in paper ‘to go’ cups. The ice cream was good, but had soured taste to us because of the whole situation. My husband ordered nutella pancakes which he waited for more than 15 minutes, and 15 minutes more we waited to finally get the bill. We tried to paid to 2 waiters but each of them told us that he will came and bring bill but nothing. We would understand if it was crowded and if we occupied a table for potential guests who would order dinner, but this as all the other restaurants in Kaštel Stari were half empty at the end of July. The pancakes were tough. I don’t know why they put a lemon that didn’t match the sweet taste of the nutella at all. From my experience I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Best food we tried in Croatia. Good price, high quality food and friendly staff.

Our meals were well presented, clean, fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend this cafe for both food and coffee.
