In a city where most coffee shops swear by what is known as "Italian style" coffee, this place and its sister espresso bar D16 Diocletian’s Palace are lifesavers for people who prefer their beans a bit less burnt beyond recognition. We visited one D16 outlet each day of our week-long trip to Split, even before day trips to other locations. Tasty flat whites, lattes and pour-overs, not to mention friendly and attentive baristas, truly made a difference to our stay. Highly recommended if you care about coffee.

I've never met a barista more passionate about their trade. Awesome local cafe with passionate, knowledgeable and friendly staff who speak impeccable English. Great spot to grab a take away coffee and walk to the old town.
