Brown Beach House Croatia

This hotel is just so badly managed!!! The staff is extremely unhelpful. None of our requests were addressed: asked for an iron to my room - never arrived, asked for coffee during breakfast - never arrived (and the breakfast overall looked very bad for a EUR 400/night hotel - it consisted of 3 pieces of stale cheese, small breadbasket and 2 slices of tomato brought to our table), asked for a glass of wine in pool bar - same story, never arrived. The beach in a "Beach House" hotel is closed - the reason is that they just couldn't be bothered to renovate stairs to the enter the sea (which is probably a $100 job, which can be done in 3-4 hours). No sunbeds - nothing like it was presented on pics. The adjacent public beach is filthy (I don't think I saw any rubbish on a beach in Croatia during our 2-week trip before). But the cherry on a cake was that after spending 4 nights here, we asked for a late checkout (because our flight got delayed by 5 hours). At first they told us that they couldn't accommodate our request, because our room was booked by other guests. But when I pointed out that the hotel looked very empty (I think only another 2-3 rooms in a whole hotel were occupied), they thought for some time and said that we could stay in our room for an additional payment of EUR 100. After having spent 4 nights, and given that the hotel was empty, this is not the answer we expected (and also given that we never had housekeeping during our stay), since it was clearly zero cost to a hotel and just a matter of being not nice to its guests. This was also delivered in a very rude manner to us. To sum up, would never recommend this hotel to a friend!!! And it's a shame, since the hotel design and rooms looked quite nice. Nice facility, but the staff kills it all completely!

I think the hotel looks good however they do not value their customers, we actually had to cancel out stay at the hotel due to a private hire of a pool party. This was not discussed before arrival. All the hotel staff cared about was organising the party, we felt very uncomfortable and that we was in the way. The only place we could sunbath was outside the front door where party guests were arriving. The beach is disgusting, if you have been anywhere else in Croatia you will know that the beaches are spotless and water is clear. Please avoid unless you are invited to a pool party, then it looks great!

This hotel is a vacationer's dream come true. We absolutely loved our experience here! The staff are warm and super attentive. Milena from breakfast was a lovely host. Maja, the GM, showed the utmost highest professionalism and standard that any guest could wish for. The rooms are super cozy and stylishly decorated. Beds are comfortable and the linen has that 'oh so nice' feeling. The pool area is relaxing. You can get everything ordered right to your needs whether that's lunch or drinks. The spa treatment was heaven. That woman knows what her hands and oils are doing. And we travelled with 2 year old, which parents can relate to, is not the easiest task ;) Bonus: the city is a short walk from the hotel. We would recommend this place any time and will definitely visit again. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing vacation to the whole team!

Friendly staff, amazing deco, room was cosy and food at the restaurant were amazing! Had a great time (despite covid-19) and nothing to complain about it. Spa treatment was also so good!
