I STRONGLY ADVISE against staying in the apartment located near this parking lot. Apartments Ante "Toni" Bašković, Podstrana, Grljevačka cesta 122. I have been going to Croatia for many years. After my first trip, I fell in love with this country and its people. I like everything: their mentality, approach to life, climate, food. We always searched for apartments in "croatia accommodation". Then standart-reservation, advance payment, departure, payment in advance. So far, great contact with other hosts, joint dinners on site, fish, wine, rakija, żubrówka (ours-they like !!!), then after returning, mutual Christmas wishes. We have returned to the same place many times and once again it was great. UNFORTUNATELY!!! Something tempted us to go to Podstrana. We found ourselves in the middle of a family war. The whole plot, i.e. the house in which we lived and the one closer to the beach, belong to one family. 3 sisters and husbands, 3 brothers and wives and a mother. However, the rental of these two apartments is provided by Ante Toni Baskovic. This family is at odds with each other. There were some unknown divisions in the yard, which with our two children was a source of confusion (this is where you can go, and not that way, do not approach the tree with mandarins - it stands in our area - it was not about picking the fruit, but only showing 7 -year-old as he grows). The air-conditioning in the apartment went out on the 3rd day (11 days without air-conditioning), we are not in conflict, despite the fee paid for it, we saved ourselves by "drafts" in the rooms. During them I did not watch it ONCE and the door slammed. The owner came and announced that if it happened again, he would charge us 5 euros for each incident. When asked about the climate, he shrugged and left. The visits of the owner to our apartment in our absence were standard. They didn't even hide with that. Later, when I left the apartment, I did not close the door anymore to make it easier for them. They did not understand the hint. I could list many more things, but these hurt us the most. There were also good sides to this situation. In order not to be in this house, we spent a lot of time on the beach and on trips. Think carefully about booking a vacation in this place ...
