Nice atmosphere and location especially on warm and sunny days. Croatian risotto very delicious. The other courses had a good quality level. Friendly service and bill reasonable for quality.

Mediocre food. There was an artichoke dish on the specialty menu which we were really looking forward to, but it was a disappointment. The artichokes were way too chewy. I've had much better artichoke dishes in Greece. Maybe it wasn't the season for artichoke. The asparagus risotto tasted fine, although we weren't able to find any traces of asparagus. The big salad was an uninspired ensemble of lettuce, tomato, cucumber and cole slaw without any seasoning. All in all not a restaurant I would recommend.

wonderful food, served with love in a lovely setting. an oasis of super nice people who not only keep but constantly raise standards. i send all my guests to val and get constant praises for the choice. recommended with all my heart and a happy belly!!!
