Lovely old synagogue, tucked in what used to be the Jewish area of Split, there is not a so much a population now as there used to be. Cover your heads and shoulders going in, as this is a place of worship. Notice the ornately carved Bimah and Torah Ark, as well as the women's gallery. The synagogue is very small, but it is beautiful. A donation is recommended towards Split's Jewish community, it goes towards the preservation of the synagogue. Admission, I believe is free. Beautiful building as well, and it is still in use as Split's Jewish cultural center.
