SUNce Palace Apartments

If you want to stay in Dubrovnik Old Town this is THE place to stay!! We had a lovely, smiley welcome from Domenika who was super helpful and friendly! It is just steps from Stradun (the main street) but still quiet. It is a beautiful 12th century building but has been recently refurbished to a very high standard with all mod cons. The bathroom is fabulous with a huge shower and good water pressure. The kitchen is small but perfectly formed. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. The room was quite dark but that's because we were in the shadow of the beautiful Church of the Asuncion. It was a nice relief from the bright, hot August sun! Everything you need for a great stay! We will definitely be back and will 100% be choosing Sunce again!!

We are trying to negotiate with this property for a refund on our proposed 3 night stay in July 2020. Due to Covid-19 our 6 week trip has been fully cancelled and most places we had booked have been exceptionally understanding of the situation. The managers of this property have offered a refund in the form of a credit which is useless to us at this time as we cannot foresee a future travel date. I will keep this post updated with my progress however, please ensure you negotiate cancellation options before you book with this property as they are the worst we have dealt with so far! This place is the palace, in medieval age lords were living in it. It is a very nice place to stay in Dubrovnik. Apartment was clean and tidy, all required pans and pots were available in it, in case you like to make your own lunch, also towels and shampoo. Host Mrs Domenika vas very nice and will explain to you what to see and where to eat good in old town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Situated 5 mins from Pile gates and on flat road, so getting there with luggage from taxi drop off was no problem. Located in the heart of old town. Our room was lovely and very spacious with all amenities you could need including well equipped kitchen. Rooms aren’t serviced but access to fresh towels etc are available at any time. Laundry facilities and washing powder also available to use without charge. Staff were amazing. No hesitation to recommend staying here. Thank you Domenique for all your help.

Amazing place to stay! I had my reservations at first, but I loved this place. The reception is very helpful and this is bang in the middle of old town. I would highly recommend staying here.
