Highly recommended for one-night sleepover with family. Very good, clean, spacious and comfortable rooms! Bath, beds, air-conditioning, minibar, TV - everything was very good. Secure private parking, friendly staff at reception, good sound isolation. Interconnected rooms for the family stay are simply brilliant! Prices are very reasonable.

If you're looking for a clean, logically priced place to stay, while you're committing, this hotel will do great. It's only 8-10 minutes from the highway hub next to Zagreb. Very polite staff, very helpful. Highly recommended. The only disadvantage is the smoking room, which smell often enters the clean premises.

I was a guest at the wedding this past Saturday 6/9/19. I am not really sure how this vendor manages to obtain new clients because management is extremely rude and unprofessional. Your wedding day is supposed to be one of the most memorable and happy days in a girl’s life, a day many dream about from a young age as being one of the few perfect days in their life. So please explain to me how is it acceptable for a vendor to completely ruin the entire thing?! Hotel Phoenix is popularly known for their wedding events and what happened just a few days ago made me wonder how many brides have had their wedding days ruined for the same reason my cousin (the bride) did. My cousin (the bride) signed a contract a year ago which stated a fixed price and the menu. There was no clause that stated that there could be a possible change in price or menu. However the manager insisted on raising the price and providing a lower quality menu than the one both parties originally agreed upon. About 170 guests attended my cousins wedding party, which is well under this wedding salons capacity. After coming from the church, all of those people were forced to stand outside of Hotel Phoenix for almost an hour in 40°C or 104°F weather without any food or water because of the power outage in the building and staff was struggling to finish final preparations on time. When they were finally allowed people to enter the wedding salon the air conditioning wasn’t working. Now imagine having 170 people in a room with no air conditioning on a warm summer night all starving because it took 2 hours for the Hotel Phoenix management and staff to get its act together. The contract stated that an appetizer was to be served at 10 pm, followed by main course, and then followed by the cake at midnight. Food was not served until midnight and the cake didn’t come out until 2 am! To only add insult to injury the band wasn’t able to perform for a good part of the night due to electrical problems in the building. Electrical problems posed a serious hazard for the musicians of electrical shock from there components, This already nearly ruined night could have resulted in a serious injury very quickly. When the band was finally able to actually to play they were afraid there instruments could be damaged or that there electrical components would burn out resulting in very expensive repairs if anything was still fixable. This entire experience offered by the Hotel Phoenix was completely unacceptable and tragically awful, management was rude and would not offer any solution to the problems experienced on the property. This was someone’s wedding not a set for a miserable 1800s sweat shop. You would think that with all of the issues experienced they would have at the bare minimum compensated for part of the bill if not all of it to apologize for the historic disaster that became my cousins wedding night. Mr. Tomislav Pustahija the head manager that night has refused to make any effort to even apologize for all inconvenience his incompetence caused, and proceeded to charge the full amount for this disaster of a wedding. Further more the staff was complaining about how overworked they were, and stating that their overtime remains unpaid. I am writing this review in hope that people see this and go elsewhere so that no bride ever has to go through what my cousin went through on what was supposed to be one of the best and most special days of her life ruined by the Hotel Phoenix and its staff.
