Would not recommend this company for water sports, especially the sting ray and any similar rides anchored to a speed boat. No instructions were given about how fast the boat operator would go, whether that is ok for us or not, what to do if you dont feel comfortable or safe. We were just put on the sting ray raft and the boat sped away. The ride was too fast and choppy, my partner and I were literally holding on for dear life. Any attempts to scream at the boat driver to slow down were ignored, he just flashed a thumbs up sign. Then he slowed down for a second, only to speed back up again.We had to scream again to just stop the ride, and didn't even get the full 10 minutes. Its really too bad the driver was so incompetent and the staff so unprofessional. This could have been a great experience if they gave us fair warning before or if the driver actually listened to us and slowed down a little for the remainder of the ride. At the end one of the other staff just gave excuses about " the wind being stronger than usual" and the driver shrugged saying he was only going at 25% of normal speed. Yeah right! They had given other people smoother rides earlier in the day. Just seemed to not care as it was evening (near end of day). No apology or refund offered either. Just ridiculous. Put a damper on an otherwise perfect trip to the amazing country that Croatia is. No other customer service experience in Croatia was even close to as bad as this. Most people in the service industry there are exemplary. Also, we have done extremely adventurous activities throughout the world, cliff diving, white water rafting in level 3 rapids, ziplining at a height of 3000 feet to name a few. But never have we been so uncomfortable and so scared than we were during this sting ray ride with Watersports Bol's boat operator. We were flailing around barely staying on board the sting ray. Avoid this company at all costs! If you want to do watersports in Bol explore other companies.
