General Hospital Dubrovnik

My son had an accident where his lip split from riding a jet ski. Took a cab to the Hospital and was promptly attended. The emergency room was pretty quiet and wait time was maybe less than 10 mins. Happy with the quick attention and time spent to help us.

2 days after my arrival in croatia for hollidays , i was seized with stomach pains, hospitalized they found peritonitis in the colon. I had to be operated on for a life-threatening emergency. today I am in France alive and all this thanks and especially thanks to the talented and renowned Dr Varela whom I thank 1000 times and for whom I have deep gratitude. a doctor friend knowing the work that Dr Varela has done on me told me "not only is he gifted but in addition he has a large pair of ... the hospital is perhaps less good than in France but we are perhaps better looked after. the nursing staff is quite competent after dealing with the moods of some

Efficient, old fashioned and charmless. Worked for my suspected broken foot, in and out in 3 hours.

I was on holiday and slipped on my first day. Went to the hospital and couldn't fault the care given to me. Everyone was very helpful and spoke English. I was seen and sorted within 2 hours. I had an EHIC and didn't have to pay. Thanks to all concerned.

I had to attend the A and E because I was fainting frequently while on holiday. Had no previous episodes of fainting in my life so there is definitely something underlying. The staff came out and asked me x2 what my problem was. I got seen and had a very basic assessment done in 2 minutes. And was told to go home and that nothing was wrong. I asked for a set of blood tests to be taken and I was totally disregarded. I got told that I must seek medical advice in my own country when I get back home. Being a health professional myself I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of care and compassion that these health professionals in the A and E had! Absolutely disgusting treatment in my opinion. The level of hygiene was absolutely disgusting Aswell! If I could give a rating of 0/5 I most certainly would!
