Very Nice hotel with a view on the sea. Breakfast is good can be better and I believe it should be replaced with new stuff every 2 days. Location is really nice away from the crowd

Lovely hotel! Very modern, bright and clean. Quick and easy check in and room was ready when we arrived at 12.30. Stunning views from the balcony. Loved the room. Pool and spa were really nice. Free to use sun loungers on the beach. Good service at pool bar, great range of cocktails to try. Live music every night. Breakfast was a wide range of good quality items. We tried the buffet evening meal and although the food was good the service was not great, I wouldn’t do it again. Would stay here again!

This is an exquisite hotel, with a gorgeous interior, luxuriously equipped rooms with a stunnig view right by the seaside. The staff went out of their way to provide help and are truly remarkable. The breakfast is excellent, with ample choice of quality foods. When in Dubrovnik, become a guest of the hotel Kompas- you will enjoy.

Wonderful location. Fortunately we were there before season closed on 30 Oct; after that restaurants, cafes, businesses close until March following year. Go out of Hotel on beach front turn left, keep walking and at road, local bus will take you to old Town. During season lots restaurants along way. Hotel great for breakfast, drinks but other restaurants more inviting for dinner.

The hotel was amazing! Could not fault the interior and the views were breathtaking even at this time of year. We went at the beginning of December and were in t-shirts for most of our stay! The spa was lovely too and the treatment we had was very luxurious. The food in the restaurant was nice but not what we're used to. Good value for money if you go from the set menu which didn't change except for one night during out week stay. However, if you want variety, there are some tasty (but pricey) restaurants a very short walk away. The minibar was stocked frequently but if you are going to use it regularly, I would recommend visiting the local supermarket called Tommy's. Very cheap snacks and drinks to tide you over for the day. The pool is beautiful and very relaxing except for a filter that occasionally made a loud gargling noise which was off putting. Can definitely be overlooked when you're actually swimming about though. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Josep was especially lovely and always had a positive vibe even so early in the morning! There are LOTS of cats around. Not in the hotel of course but around the area. They are lovely and very affectionate, just take caution! We met Iris who looks after them and told us about the famous animal shelter in Dubrovnik which you can visit. If you're an animal lover, this is a great place to go! If you're not, you'll hardly notice they're there. For 30 kuna all day, you can use the bus service which is ~4 minutes up the road from the hotel that takes you to the Old Town (Pile Gate). A very short ride. There is so much to do that I wouldn't be able to write it all but I would recommend the cable car to the top of the mountain which has a stunning view of the old town as well as a restaurant. I could not recommend this hotel enough. 5 stars all round. Oh! And they come round with chocolate in the evening! If that doesn't persuade you, nothing will.
