Kempinski Hotel Adriatic Istria Croatia

Pretty nice hotel. Need to walk to beach about 5 min. Good beach, tasty food, friendly staff. Come here with family every year. Pool is also large and great.

Amazing location overlooking the shere top of the Adriatic bay - Istria, Slovenia and Italy are visible from this very location. The bay and beach bar are just a stroll away from the hotel, cabanas are available. At the hotel, a swimming pool and hot tubs are available. Rooms are large and very cosy, true 5 star experience.

the food is great, the rooms also, just the prices could and should be more appropriate. and the "climb" from the beach to the hotel could be "friendlier" - in full sun and heat (33+ degrees C) - for the price, you could drive your guests from the beach to the rooms... 😉

In terms of rooms, the beach, cleanliness - all positive. The hotel itself and its location is beautiful. Food (albeit somewhat overpriced) is also very good. Unfortunately, service was not as great. I understand that during Covid19 certain changes must be made to accommodate the health and safety of guests and staff. However, it seems that there’s an issue of understaffing. There simply isn’t enough staff to account for the amount of guests present, which results in slow service, overworked staff, and unhappy guests. It seems implausible that the hotel should bring back a greater number of staff, given the pandemic; that being said, the amount of guests allowed to book at the hotel should probably be reduced. It’s a difficult time and business is business, but for the overall happiness of both staff and guests, it seems that this would be an appropriate measure to take.
